Of all the fields of human activity, construction is one of the sectors with the highest occurrence of risk situations which have to be prevented or addressed immediately. In the event of injuries or sudden health problems, workplaces and namely construction sites are nowadays usually equipped with standard medical kits making first aid easier.

None of them, however, address first aid comprehensively with emphasis on correct and efficient procedures for giving first aid, in particular at the workplace. In addition, those first aid kits do not provide simple and clear instructions for giving first aid, they do not reflect the current trends in emergency medicine and often they are not located so as to be accessible to as many people as possible.

The solution is SAFE-POINT, a system of knowledge and equipment for efficient first aid primarily on construction sites. It is built on the principles of simplicity and accessibility with the main objective being to maximise the chances of survival with basic knowledge and a minimum of aids.
